Campus Ministries Offers Morning Worship

Story by Julia Iversen

Campus Ministries is starting a new event for students to be apart of and enjoy. USF campus ministry graduate assistant Matt Harsch is excited about this new way to foster community.

“The purpose of us getting together is to come together one more time throughout the week to worship God,” said Harsch. “We gather together to worship as a community to grow in our faith and grow with each other here at USF.”

There is a portion of chapel set aside for student led worship, but this somewhat candid and casual way of worshiping is informal and all about connecting with Jesus through praise. This past Thursday roughly thirty students came to worship alongside one another.

Everyone is invited and encouraged to come worship every other Thursday at 10AM by the fireplace in Java City (campus Student Union).
