The Vucurevich School of Business hosts Second Annual Christmas Fundraiser

The Cleveland Center is looking festive for the holiday season, but it’s not just for show. Students of USF’s business school have a 20-foot tree on display. Bruce Watley the Assistant Professor of Business Administration tells us more about this giving tree.

“We are looking at providing a community service project that helps four different charities,” says Watley.

Those charities are Avera Children’s hospital, Children’s Inn, LifeScape, and Sanford Children’s hospital.

Watley says they’re looking for donations from students, faculty, and, for the first time, other members of the Sioux Falls community. These donations are suggested to range from coloring books, colors, markers, Play-Doh, baby items such as rattles, ann anything else craft related.

“Basically anything that kids would want to spend time playing with and enjoying,” says Watley.

Donations can be made at the Cleveland Center tree or in the box located on the front desk of the Mear’s Library.
